Default burning smell

anyone geting a burning oil smell after driving 1/2 hour. once i had smoke coming out between the cab and the bed after driving the truck hard

Default RE: burning smell

Riding the clutch (slipping) will cause a strong burning smell...not good for the clutch. I have done that a few times on my 2001 Z06 Corvette. Have not done it on my Ram SRT 10. Good, strong shifting should not cause any smoke or burning odor.
