Default Tranny adjustments? What shoul

According to my Haynes manual there are certain adjustments that should
be performed on the transmission when doing a fluid and filter change.
Since it wasn't my car I was working on I decided to take it too a
professional.

With a tranny fluid change and filter change along with the adjustments what would you think it would cost to get it done?

Your best bet is to call around. I would guess around the $45-$75 range.

I’m not concerned with replacing the filter or fluid on the tranny but
what concerns me is the adjustments. Has anyone here performed these
adjustments themselves? It’s like $25 in parts vs. $180 to bring it to
a shop. Is this something that is easy enough to do? I assume all it
involves is torquing some bolts done to a certain ft. lbs. rate and
being done with it.

If it was my car I would do it myself but it's not.
