Looking to be the new guy

Hi all,
I've just started the search for a new truck. I'm looking into getting into a Dakota. The one I have my eye on is a 98 club cab V8 4x4 with an automatic taransmition and 100k miles on it. I was just wondering if you could give me some advice on what questions to ask, what to look out for? Are there any known issues with this year and modle? Should I look for a newer Dakota? or one with less miles. Any and all advice would be apreciated.

i dont know, i hope the price is real good, 100k is alot of miles, and
you dont know how hard those miles were put on by someone else,
