I saw on the Dodge website that the 2005 Ram SRT-10 regular cab is offered with the 4.56 axle instead of the 4.10 on the 2004. They said the quad cab had the 4.56 so it could tow, does this mean the regular cab will be able to tow?

no, the reason they don't want you to tow with the RC is because of the lowered suspension. the QC doesn't have lowered suspension. however some RC owners have used the trucks for towing with no problems.

The whole purpose of the Quad Cab SRT-10 was to put a stop to all the complaints from Vipers owners who bought the Regular Cab for towing and couldn't, as I have stated several times before throughtout the forum. The 4.56 rear end, now takes the Ram SRT-10's 0-60mph to a .1 second better time!
Dumb question, where did you order your gears from, and what was the cost?
I ordered the gears from Devin at Unitrax 1-800-622-4327. Right now they are hard to come by and we are still waitng for the proper install kit to be assembled. Dana Corp is dragging their feet with sending out the correct shim kits for these gears (they are a different design than the stock setup). If you want them talk to Devin, he is the one taking charge of this for us and he will put you on his waiting list. No one knows when all the parts will be in. I forgot what the price was but I think it was about $380 for just the gears.
