Max power v-6
Ok, ok. I seriously screwed up. Got the v-6 before I ever was on this dodge forum. Or ANY dodge forum for that matter. Got the v-6 thinking I would get somewhere in the 18-20 mpg range. Then found out last night at my first fill up that it REALLY gets 15.6 !!! Calle dthe dealer this morning and he said "So what? You bought it. I done sold your old trade in 3 days ago. And I will NOT take that truck back! OR trade with you on a v-8 model !! " imf, Well, I have come down off of the celing now, and thought "What the &^%, if it cant get good gas milage, I'll just see how much power I can squeeze out of this little hampster motor!
[sm=happybounce.gif]Just wind the rubber band a little tighter and see what'll do.
Man that blows the stealership sales guy won't do anything .
Well just keep your ears on and listen to what these guys have to say you'll learn alot.
Maybe w/ some luck and money you'll turn that hamester into a guinee pig and be spinin your wheels a little quicker.

every one using this v6 dodge forum made the same mistake.
we all thought. it would save us gas,but false advertisement and loss of power is all we ended up getting.
throw a couole mods to get more mpg and power.
other than that welcome to the live of owning a v6 dodge!

I;m not one of those people allways looking to make an easy buck. I have worked on my famly farm for more than 15 years now. As well as being a parts dept. manager at The local Ag dealership. However, I do think there should be some kind of lawsuit aganst Dodge for false advertisemant. 'Course, that would not stand up in court. 'Cause its the EPA's independant lab teststhat rates the fuel milage on the window sticker, and Dyalmer-Chrystler is not responsible of any irregularaties. (At least, thats what the dealership told me.)
That's what I said way back. But now that they are coming up with a new EPA tests for 2008, I doubt any lawsuit will be worth yours, mine or anybody's trouble. I'll bet the new test uses 55mph as the average speed. They are so full of crap, and so in the oil and car manufacturer's pockets. Its all about lobbying my friend. There are no honest politicians.
