WTS/WTT 1968 Dodge 383/727auto CREW CAB !!! (pics)
1968 Dodge D200 (3/4 ton) truck with good running original 383 and recently rebuilt automatic 727 tranny that now shifts slicker than oiled spaghetti! Truck runs and drives good, title is in my name as are tags (which are up to date but are black sticker) all glass is good, extra parts include super nice spare, correct tailgate, two crew cab doors, starter, front axle, instrument cluster and is now sitting on a full set of late model Ford 3/4 rims. Original owner's manual is included.
I have installed new tailight lenses, new valve cover gaskets, new thermostat and gasket and tranmission was rebuilt less than one month ago.
The truck came with power steering which the last owner removed. I have purchased a used power steering pump bracket and pulley ($40), brand new power steering pump ($60) and new power steering pressure hose ($30) but I haven't installed them yet. They are included in the purchase price.
If you can afford the gas for this beast or need a good 1968 383 for a Road Runner or Charger this old truck is a good deal but it's quite a bit bigger than what I need - driving the thing really makes me feel like I'm driving a school bus 8^).
I'm asking $1500 (firm) but would consider trade for a slant six Dodge truck, Dodge Dart, Plymouth Valiantor a unibody (circa 1961) Ford truck.
I am in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.
Thanks, D. Cecil
