You work at Best Buy... You're getting the exact same subs as I have which I purchased at Best Buy. Awesome! Lol. I just need to go out and get that 1000w Alpine amp. They have a used one missing the amp covers on the sides for $229. I'm gonna guess around $275 with the 4 year warranty. What do you think I should do there? Should I get that used amp from them and get the 4 year warranty for somewhere under $300? I know it's a $400 amp, but that's new. I'm assuming if anything goes wrong with the amp, I get a replacement if it's "not repairable."

If by used you mean it's an open item or old shelf display, everything's been tested to work prior to a tag being put on it, and the 4yr black tie protection is good for just about anything that could go wrong with it. The warranty starts on the day you purchas it, not the day it was opened, so you're golden. And yes, I do work with Best Buy lol, I'm the senior installer at my little rinky dink store.

EDIT: Just did a pair of Alpine Typer R 6.5" Components in the front and the difference is remarkable, even unamped. Can't wait to get the rears in and get an amp on them, so far it's shaping up to be an incredible sounding truck.
