Question Subwoofers or subwoofer in a 2007 Ram Quad Cab

Has anyone custom built a box or bought a premade custom box like the MTX Tunderforms that fit under the back seat of a 2007 Dodge Ram or similar truck?
If you have: What do you think about them or it (custom or premade), hows it sound, what kind wattage are you driving it or them with, and what brand of subs?
I don't need the house rattling bass like I used to have with the 15's horn loaded (sealed box) and a 1000 watts pushing them. I was actually thinking of one 8 or 10 inch sub, probably alpine or fosgate, under the passenger side back seat. I even thought about if I could make it work in a samll sealed box under the front passenger seat, that way I do not lose my storage under the back seat.
Any comments and suggestions are welcomed.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks

if you are handy with wood make your own each sub will have specs about air space go off of them and biuld one . i did and it was only 20 bucks in material and one of a kind. the prob with pre-made i have found is not all of them are air tight like they say so i just biuld my own now . plus its something i enjoy and no one else has it.

i have had two custom boxes in mine. the first one was a custom box for a 12'' MTX Thunder that had 225 watts. It was a solid beginner sub that sounded good. Now I have a 12'' Jl Audio w3 that is 500 watts. this sub is awesome. Sounds way better than the MTX. I had to make a new box for it because it was too big for the storage so i used the old box as a template and cut it down in size and now it fits perfectly. and it only cost me 30 dollars in supplies to make it not 125 that i paid for the first one at cartoys.

Yeah, make your own. I bought the 10" sealed box off of ebay, and it was as air-tight as a screen door! Got my $$ back on that one. I'm still looking for one myself. I'm about to attempt to just build one as has already been suggested.

And DirtyDog...thanks for reminding us all how to use the search button. I'm sure if you post it enough times, it will eventually sink in. :P

I have the MTX Thunderform, and I think it is ok. I don’t know too much about car audio, but for me it sounds good and adds enough bass. It has 2 10” subs and is 450 watts. You said you didn’t want to rattle your house, and it adds enough bass inside the cab, but outside you can barely hear it with the windows closed.
