Default '00 Neon: how to replace rear window 6x9's?

2000 Plymouth Neon and it has crappy Mexican 6x9s. I would like to replace but it looks like from the rear trunk that they are screwed in from the top side, inside of the rear view window. How do I access the screws to pull these speakers out? Need to know some tricks before I start breaking stuff trying to do it.

You have to remove the rear tray to get to the speakers. They're not too bad to do really.

Not to sound flippant but...NO KIDDING!!! It doesn't take a pro installer to tell me what I already know; that I have to remove the panel to access them. The purpose of this whole post is to find out if someone knows how?!

Well, since you're being all bitchy about it, OF COURSE I'll be more inclined to help you! Apparently it takes a pro to do this simple install, cuz you sure as **** havn't figured it out yet.

-Remove the lower pad of the rear seat
-Remove 2 torx screws in the upper seat pad
-Remove 4 pressure clips
-Slide the rear tray off

There you have it, 4 simple steps that are good for about 10-15 minutes worth of work. Have fun kid
