Just finished filling, smoothing and painting the magnum's bezel

That is an awesome job, do my daks now =p
Here is a link to the step by step of the transformation. Stereo bezel transformation

It cost me about $50 with the cost of the HU install kit. I used only the halfmoons from the kit. $5 paint, $5 epoxy, $5 sandpaper, $12 HU kit, $5 spot putty. tools I used was a dremel with a cutdisk, a pad sander and a lil electric space heater to help dry it. This is not for anyone who has no patience, took me three days. Things to remeember, thin layers of putt (thick will crack), sand sand and then sand some more, the textured paint has to be sprayed 10-12" or it will be shinny. If I had not removed the bottom of the bezel where the HU's bottom is, all I would have had to do would be to fill the halfmoons and a days worth of work. I was quoted between $150-$200 for the local stereo shops and $125 from a body shop to do the same. I have been playing with the idea for close to a year and finally got he kahunas to do it.

I got a Pioneer DEH-P4400 deck (old), 500 watt bazooka amp (Which has blown 10 12" 's so far for some reason lol)... Right now I'm only running 1 12" infinity 1230W in a 1.25 cubic custom box that was made as a center console for my old chevy...

I plan on raising the seat 4 inches and building a 2.5 cubic foot box to go under the seat with a 4 inch x 12 inch port for this one 12....

Then After that I'm going all out performance, the one 12 hits around 130 DB's i believe and its loud enough for me ...

Image Dynamics makes great stuff..
Iv Run IDQ15's , IDQ12's IDQ10's , ID8 & now the ID10's..
I needed to get an Xover for the ID's cuz the amps dont have one.. I crashed the truck before getting it installed..
I'll be installing (1)ID10 in the dakota when I get it.. should **** well..
The ID has a bit more SPL output than the IDQ.. but the IDQ is more SQ sub.. & it realy comes too when you port it..

Peace Troy
