Look on the lower right hand corner of the radio faceplate, there will be a 3 digit code. That's the radio model.

Default I have a 2012 Challenger

The manufacture date is Dec-2011. I tried to update my UConnect, but it didn't work. My radio displays "B:63.02.48 V:FT:d1" my voice command says "please attach USB mass storage device with update file to system connector and try again." Nothing happens. USB is already in port. Please help!

USB Port in console or glovebox. Not on radio.

Correct, the update has to be performed from the USB connector in the center console. Please try that and let us know if you still have a problem.

That's what I did and if you read my first message, it describes everything that happened when I tried.

I did read your post and that is the reply that Uconnect gives when either the USB is not connected tot he remote mounted USB connector in the center console or if the file name is not correct. How is the file named?

Lcm4msu,

Try changing the filename to uconnect.upn and ensure that it is the only file on the USB. Keep us posted on what happens!

I changed the name and it seems like it's working. My radio displays "SW UPDATE Started" and it's beeping.
