MyGig REN radio

Can you make an old MyGig REN radio work on a workbench with 12v DC supply and speakers?
Or does it have to be connected via vehicles CAN bus, in order to work?

I suppose if you can identify the positive and negative power input terminals and the speaker outputs it would work. If you have it, give it a try and see.
