I think the Dart will be a great car. With all the updates Chryslers have been doing with interior quality and one good style right after another, I think the Dart will most likely be class leading in quite a lot of area's.

BTW, if you couldn't tell by my user name, I own quite a few Neons and all have been rather good cars. My DD my family has owned since it had 50k on the clock and now I'm close to pushing 300k on it. I've driven Nissans, Honda's, Toyota's, Chevy's, ect. all from the same era as the Neon and IMO the Neon was best of the lot. the Japanese cars felt dull and very much like an appliance. The Nissan was slightly better but it felt heavy, very heavy. the Escorts and the Cavaliers I've driven just felt underpar in just about everything. My fiance's dad bought her an 02' Escort with rather low miles and it was a POS. Shook like crazy, was slow and small and handled like yesterdays garbage. She now drives a 99' Neon and its way better than the Escort was in every aspect.

I have been waiting for a worthy successor to the Neon since I gave my 03 to my son a couple years ago. The Hunchback of Auburn Hills, aka Caliber, just couldn't do it for me. I am going to buy a Dart as soon as they become available. My new house is just far more expensive than I anticipated, so the Charger will have to wait. This new Dart has made my day.

Glad to see they are getting back into the small car market, they tend to be doing stuff right of late, hope they keep it up!

I am an Aries, were rams basically. i like dodge and i think dodge has made a descent chose in bringing back a updated neon but i hope this dart is all what it is cracked up to be. they should bring a diesel version with all wheel drive to the us. and call it an r/t 2.0 diesel for us tuners the dodge dart hopefully wont have that same weak 2.4 engines srt 4 which had week turbos and engine would get clogged. they should make a new line of four cylinder diesel engines and change there sixes to be diesel too. that way you would be ahead of the US market and have better fuel efficiency and stronger engines with better turbo response. Dodge Dart looks promising from the pics hope its hardware and chassis is up for the US market. i owned a Chrysler sebring 04 it was a good car. I hope this new one is do-it you self friendly. We need more diesels and awd vehicles that get better gas mileage and do away with this gas. we should be similar to europe and stop using gasoline cause there are better usage for diesel plus it is built stronger then conventional gasoline engines. To actually see this Dart with Full specs will be cool. keep getting better gas mileage and more reliable and everyone will come calling. that is why the Japs and Koreans got the US market beat with selling compact and sub compact cars more reliable and better fuel efficiency.

i really want to see Dodge take over the subcompact and compact market. Hopefully with Fiats help the can do so quick. i loved the neon but really dislike the caliber and hope they never bring a car like that back in the market ever. that car sucked and was idiotic because they didnt have a sedan form for it plus it was like they were handing the US market over to the competition very stupid move they should have kept the neon or even did a remodel with it. but im glade there trying to get back in the game. bring some diesel 4 cyclinders in the game and you will see how fast people will buy your car.

This had better have a coupe version, or at very least a 5-door hatch. Sedan-only means 'lame'. A turbocharged SRT-4 coupe with optional awd is just what the enthusiast will want as a more affordable alternative to the Challenger.
