Is Chrysler going retro with the 2013 Viper?
It worked for the Challenger...but can Chrysler make a "retro" version of the Viper that left production in 2002? The image below supposedly the 2013 SRT Viper and you can read more about this picture on the DF front page (click here!)

It wouldn't surprise me. If you look at the styling of the most recent Chrysler offerings that were in production before the Daimler came in ruined everything, the styling seems to pick up where the Lutz era left off. The Charger looks very close to the 1999 Concept. The current Grand Cherokee looks almost like a continuation of the 1999-2004 model, rather than the 2005-2010 model. I hope this is what they are planning on doing. I'd like to erase the styling, interior, platforms, and offerings (aside from the LX cars though I would like one FWD large offering) of the Daimler era. I just wish the current management would stop treating Dodge the way that Eaton treated Plymouth. Having the Ram and the Viper under Dodge is mutually beneficial and logical. If creating more divisions was a sound business policy, why then have GM and Ford been consolidating their divisions.
