The recent news that there will be a next generation midsized sedan to replace the current Avenger came as a surprise and has left many of us wondering what this new car might be named.

Even though it was a Plymouth, the Satellite name has been missing since about 1975.
Sebring will work too.

 

It can only have an aggressive name if the car itself is going to be aggressive. So it will wholly depend on what Dodge does. lol

 

bring back the CORONET! already brough the dart name back... might as well!

would be nice to see a four door sedan and two door coupe version like in the past.

Dodge Horace to honor one of the founders.
Make a more sporty model called the Dodge Horace JD for John Dodge.
Advertise that you are bringing old time style with new time performance and that's why your founders brought Dodge to the market, for the working man and that you haven't forgot that.

 

I'd like to see STEALTH used again personally. Love to see them bring out a very aggressive looking midsize sedan with the Stealth name attached to it.

 

How about Sentinel, just a thought. The car has to look aggressive and sporty.

 

Dodge could bring back the swinger or the roadrunner. Or how about the fury? Then there is the desoto.

 

The Plymouth names are all good names, but they should remain Plymouth names. IMHO, the new 2013 Dart should have been called the Colt with the Dart name going to the new mid-sized car. However, since this is no longer a possibility, I think the new mid-sized car should be called the Coronet.

The Coronet name is a versatile name, one that could be used for both an aggressive styled car as well as a family friendly car.
