Holy crap! I just was reading this on the corprate page. Then I found it here. 300 horse! Wow were do I sign! Anyone hear anything on pricing? Might have to trade the ram for this one.

thats a hell of a change, but i guess it should be reasonably priced. one thing, i think the Chrysler's workers discount doesn't work on SRT vehicles, at least last time i checked. i think it will be close to the other srt4 price.

Still looks like a chopped down to size Magnum/Focus Wannabe.

While I love the performance aspect of this car, I have to wonder if Dodge is ever going to get back to building a normal car. Right now all they have are two massive tanks in the Charger and Magnum, and these lil hatchback/crossovers. The Avenger is most likely going to be much the same.

 

That looks great, I wonder if they are being really conservative with their performance numbers though, i'd think the 0-60 on it with 300hp and AWD would easily be 5 seconds or less, with 300hp that would put it right around a Subaru Impreza WRS STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo for power to weight ratio.

FWD, not AWD, pricing is supposedly unconfirmed at well under 25k.

Evo IX still will eat this alive....as you got to remember....the SRT-4 model will come stock with a turbo....otherwise it wouldnt even compare...

 

I heard that rumor, that there wouldn't be one. The thing that the person who made this up doesn't realize, is exactly what you said. It's probably available in both. There is no way the R/T is available AWD and the SRT isn't...
