*updated* I have discovered that my question was in error. When talking about LT/100km you actually want lower numbers unlike MPG (US). So I was trying to find a way to boost the number in error. 😖
thanks for the replies.
Hello everyone...newb here. My hubs had a massive stroke 2 years ago and is still not ready to go back to his life as a stone mason.... so I decided to trade in my Ridgeline and his F350 for a 2017 ram 1500 sport 5.7 hemi crew cab. Since Dodge is having a ridiculous sale and we live in the country I figured now was a good time to combine 2 into 1. 😁
Onto my question...I travel just under 200kms daily with 95% of that being hwy. I have noticed that I get better mpg when at around 2000 rpm which loosely translates to 30kms over the posted limit. 😱
(Now don't misunderstand, I travel at 3am and don't mind chancing 120 but 130 is a tad too steep I'm sure for the O.P.P.) Can I use the gear +/- to stay at around 2000 rpm and still do 120 AND get better mpg without towing anything? TIA 😁
