Default 1997- 5,2 V8 to replace a 2003- 4,7 V8

My neighbor has a 1997 Dodge 150 w/ a 5,2 - V8 with little over 5000 km, engine is in very good condition, he also have a 2003 Dodge 150 w/ a 4,7 - V8, that uses a lot of gas compared to the 1997 model.
Can we swap these two engines without any problems, or what problems do you think we will encounter?
Appreciate any and all help you can provide us, thank you in advance.

Not without spending a ton of money. Btw, you do mean 1500 right? The 150 went out of production in 95-96. Best post up in the 2nd gen Ram section.
