I have never been able to figure out where to vote. I'm not a smart man, but I now what Mopar is.

We believe that allowing you the member to nominate them is far more impartial then allowing the mods to do so. More to the point, it's less of a hassle for us to search and look...

You found this section, there is typically threads that say Truck or Car of the Month and inside that is a poll. You click the choice you like and that is it...

That completely discounts anyone that's built a sleeper.

I'm half on board with that. Not being able to show the votes not a good idea. Its like watching who's getting voted in to office with a blind fold on. Don't you like to know who winning, weather you like them or not? I think that is half the fun, if your in the race or not. I like the idea of a mod section and a stock section. Whats the deal with not voting for the other cars? Why it that such a big deal? We have are part of the forum and they have there. Plus I only found rotm because the ram guys had a link to it. Other wise I had no clue that there was a voting spot. (guess it don't help I have a tab so I can just go right to the 2nd gen section) I had just got in to voting when it hit the fan. After all this I say get rid of it! People are just get mad your going to hid the votes, People will say its fixed.

Those very people that own those cars help vote for your trucks, why shouldn't you return the favor? This isn't the Ram forum at DodgeForum, it's DODGEFORUM. That kind of ours theirs mentality is part of the problem we had the last couple of months with the bickering in ROTM in the first place!

Um, Doc? I know that you have only been a member for a short time, but we already have separate OTM's that we run for car and for truck.

What was mentioned above was that the TOTM was getting more than double the votes that the VOTM (Vehicle of the month - everything non-truck). Sometimes VOTM would get less. We were asking for encouragement from the truck guys to vote in the other thread just to make it interesting. The car guys voted in the truck thread, we were just looking for some love in return.

oh.. well damn... i though ROTM was for Ride Of The Month...

i was thinking that everyone was upset because the truck guys wouldn't vote FOR the car guys in the compititions... not that the truck guys wouldn't vote in the car polls period or vice versa.

oh well... i guess i misread the original post
