Default Restoring my 71 Convertible

Hello friends
Having worked a full year at getting everything I need to restore my convertible, the last of which is a 451 stroker kit from 440source (now being shipped), I intended to take the car in on Monday 15th to get a quote for the works, when on Sunday 14th a nut driving a BMW 3 series looses control and swings right into my right side knocking me into the sidewall of the highway[:'(]. Luckily it was during rush hour and I was driving slow, so the damage is basically caused by his bang. For the life of me, with so much traffic and moving at about 30 mph, I still cannot figure out how he gathered so much speed and found the space to spin out of control andhit my car. See attached photo.
Anyway, the car is now safely at the garage where repairs and full ground up restoration will begin.
I need help onthese items:
1. where can Ifind new eyebrows(the Aluminum frames that surround the lights)
2. I saw a car with a wide chrome extension that fits above these eyebrows and onto the hood (see attached photo). Any idea who supplies these?
3. Who supplies new A/C vents the ones that fit on the dash
Regards to all

Default RE: Restoring my 71 Convertible

DAYUM, Farouk... that just plain SUCKS! I think the parts you were asking about are pretty much gonna have to be found used... have you signed up at http://www.cuda-challenger.com/ yet? That would be the best place to begin your search... especially item 2, since that was a pretty limited option to begin with.Chances are that somebody there has had to find the same items you're seeking. Good luck with your parts quest, and once again, my sympathies for your misfortune.
