RE: newbie here, looking for headers
Hooker Super Comp's are what I always wanted, but they are very expensive. The TTI headers are also very nice, but once again they are wallet breakers, my 3" TTI exhaust was the same price as just their headers. I went with Dynomax ceramic coated headers and they have been doing great so far.

The Dynomax ceramic coated headers have worked well for me, too. I've had them on since 1990 and they still look great. If you've putting headers on for the first time, be aware that the small block headers wrap around the steering linkage and clearance is a real b*t*h with the steering box/starter. You might want to take the opportunity to replace the linkage if you're going to be taking it apart anyway,

I have a set that needs to be assembled. 1 7/8 primaries with 3" collectors. Will sell them cheap if you're interested. I believe they are headmans. E-mail me if interested. bmcmillen@sbnair.com
