Default Challenger Modification

I own a 72 Challenger, and I know most people dislike the "frowning" grille, I think it is just ok...I really want to change it to a 1971 Challenger Grille, but do I have to change the fenders? Or can I just do modifications to the front light assembly? I dont have the cash for new fenders, and I have seen numerous CH. with this mod. and no one seems to have an answer for me, Please help

Default RE: Challenger Modification

You can use your stock fenders but the marker lights on the fenders and rear quarters are different. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. I have a 73 that looks awsome! If you haven't spent the money on the new front....don't waste your time! Take that money and restore the car or put it into some internal engine mods!

Anyway, enough of my soapbox speech.......The 70-71 front will bolt right up but no one will believe that it is a 70-71 model because of the marker lights.
