Default 1969 Gtx Air Grabbers

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...QQcmdZViewItem

Just how "rare" are the 69 440 HP-2's with Air Grabbers?

Nice GTX and having an air grabber is always 'nice' but that car isn't worth $55,000. And I bet once you start really looking over it that price will look even more out of place. Tach doesn't work, wrong radio.....etc.

I was curious as to the actual rarity of the Air Grabbers. We both know that car isn't worth 55K. If that's the case, mine ought to be worth 100K..

I've never actually seen anything on how many Air Grabbers were produced in 1969 but it would add to the value. I bet Galen Govier would know but that info would cost you. If I see or run across that info I will post it. [sm=smiley20.gif]

1969 Road Runner "Motortrend Car of the Year" it was a great year for Plymouth. They built 84,000+ Road Runners. Roughly 33,743+- Post cars, 48,549+- Hardtops and about 2218 convertibles. There were roughly 788 Hemi Road Runners built in 1969 and all those came standard with the Air Grabber. So what you are saying is only 99 of the other 83,000+ Road Runners had Air Grabbers? That would be more rare then the Hemi itself[sm=yikesomg.gif]. There would be one person you could contact and find out the 'real' numbers if you wanted to. Here's his link: Galen Govier Webpage He probably has all that info along with the GTX numbers. IF you have the link you say has Air Grabbers production numbers please post it. [sm=smiley20.gif]
