Default 2009 Dodge Charger SRT8 - Fuel Octane question

Hi everyone,

Having the Charger 2009 SRT8 here in Europe, I was wondering what is a correct fuel octane to use ?
Here in Europe we have 95 or 98.
Since I own a car - 1 year already, I've used to put the expensive fuel of 98 only.

But having twice the same problem with a DEAD fuel tank, I was wondering, if it could be caused by incorrect fuel octanes for this vehicle ?

In the fuel tank, there was some small dirtiness since the first DEAD fuel pump, I took it to the Service station to clear the tank out, but here we go again, a second fuel pump is dead, same issue - dirty filter, dirty fuel pump assembly and dead fuel pump engine...

anyone could tell me something more about it ?

I highly doubt octane rating is causing the fuel pump issues. More like dirty gas. If you gave an owners manual it will tell you the recommended octane rating.
