Cool, I have read good things about Windows 7, Microsoft had to come back with something amazing cause of the failure of Vista. I will be getting it...

Mine worked quite well

I use Symantec Ghost for backups and can reload my old system in an hour to the way it was before..

Derrick, having used it is there anything even worth getting the Ultimate Edition for over Professional? (I know about Bitlocker but you can do better for free with TrueCrypt).

Media Center, Bitlocker, and a few other things, but overall, probably not anything that you would need...

What about the differences in Remote assistance? I know that in Vista, you could only accept help, but not offer it. I ran into this issue with long distance family that was having computer issues. I had home premium, and couldn't connect to her tower. Once I went to ultimate, the option was available to me.
