Considering that would be an "M" code Dart, Galen Govier may have an idea who owns it or where it might be. I had one until 2004 and sold it to a guy near Michigan I think. Mine was triple black with the vin ending in LS23M ** 236091 .

Google Galen Govier, he is the legend in Chrysler/Mopar muscle car authentication. He's an easy guy to find.

Default lost 69 dart

my '69 was a race car from new until 1979 when i got my lisc.it had exhuast tips,GTS badging, trunk stripe, white with black bucket interior.when dad bought it it had fenerwell headers.im sure the car is long gone, last time i saw it was the day i got home from the army in '86,new owner painted it red and put some ridiculous wheels on it.last seen on pleasentville road just north of carroll,ohio,43112.i think the dudes name was karl, something like that.they were a german immigrant family.anyway,i couldnt afford to buy it back now that its 100k and up for a real one in nice shape.who knew those cars we had in high school would be mega buck now? i know all about galen, talked to him several times.he helped us document a odd-ball duster we had in here a while back, long story.
take care
