Not sure if changing the oil will help as Stu at Inertia suggested it would tame the noise on a modern Hemi. Here is a section about bleeding lifters:

IOts the new cam.after looking into it more,I need different pushrods and adjustable rockers to get the preload on in my lifters.So now i am thinking on installing the Mopar purple camshaft P# 4452992.
