power booster 1972 dodge dart
Hello I am new here.
I have a 1972 Dodge Dart Custom with a 225 that I am working on. Im sure I know the answer but I'll ask anyhow. I have vacuum to my power booster and loads of pedal (after I changed the master cylinder) but it takes way too much force to stop the car. Do I need to just change out the booster? Is there one from another car I can possibly use? I did bench bleed the master cylinder and bled the brakes all the way around. I changed the rear drums and shoes along with all the hardware and the calipers are in working order. The check valve is also new. This car runs fantastic and I can't wait to cruise it around. I would say 95% of the car is original. I buffed out the original paint and it looks fantastic. Theres a car show this weekend and I would like to take it on cruise night friday and possible show it as "Under Construction". Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did see sompelace that a booster from a Plymouth breeze could work. Is that true?
Thanks.
