Default Engine correct

I have a friend that wants me to trade my car for a 1964 dodge dart gt convertable with an inline six 3 speed is that correct? Is there anything i should check for on the car before i trade?

condition, condition, condition. if its in good condition the miles is not important. 1964 was the first year chrysler had the 4 speed, realy made for racing, very good 4 speed. but it looks like you dont have one, but thats ok. i had a 64 dart slant w/ 4 speed kind of rare. the 4 speed will NOT bolt to the 3 speed housing. i think that year slant came only with a 1 bbl carb. check if it is the 225 or 170. they did have a 189 but not sure of the years.for it. to check the engine size , with engine cold, a 225 you can pass you thumb between the water pump housing and the exhaust manifold. a 170 has NO room for your thumb. i modded a 1 bbl to a 318 2 bbl. not for every one.
