Default Filthy Rims

Its been awhile since I have washed my truck. I have chrome 22" rims. The rims are filthy. I tried to use windex to clean them, its what they told me to use when i first bought them. Here is a picture of them http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/521/rimsu.jpg I need to know whats the best thing to use to clean them thanks.

windex will flash the wheels, don't ever use that again. Get some wool pad, and soapy water, and rub the wheels lightly, you will see all the gunk be removed. Then use a nice chrome polish ( a wax will work) and then remove and your back to brand new!

nothing is wrong with the mods, the site has been having some issues with double posting and crap... how many have you lost? I am guessing a couple could have been mods just merging double posts.

I would use a chrome polish and then a coat of wax,

One thing I discovered that helps me. I measure the distance from rim edge to rim edge, then cut a circle out of cardboard that diameter. I use this to cover the entire wheel when I spray on tire protectant/shine. It will keep the liquid from getting on the wheels and attracting dust and dirt, which forces you to clean up sooner...
I could not attach, but did make a small photo album in my list.
