There's no automatic way to close threads after a certain number of years. Wish there was.

Yeah because i don't even look at the dates if I have info to share i put it up so someone else might gain from it.

So is POR-15 still a good choice nowadays ?

It's a rust converter, There are other product's that do the same thing. May want to look at whats available other than the POR and compare.

and, i use por 15.
i'd like to set up a small spray gun, like a hobby type. my son has the gear, but wouldn't let me try it out.

No it's not but some are outdated as to what has changed from the original post date. Resurrecting a post from ten years ago is just plan useless. A lot of times i don't think people look at the dates. I see this issue a lot here.
