1. 1956 Dodge Coronet

In 1956, Dodge advertised their Coronet police cars, and they sold a fleet of them. These police vehicles were equipped with 325 Hemi engines, as well as a performance package that allowed the Coronet to develop 310 horsepower.
this is not true!
The normal one's were 6cyl +poly engine 315 V8 with 230hp sae,then The 260hp sae, then 285hp 315 Hemi engine and some 295hp one's..and some (Dodge D-500 Special Interceptor Hemi 315 high Performance engine one's that there were two on the planet back in 1990 they were not any option pac's like Royal Lancer or Coronet were. They were just D-500:1 Dodge's. That had only one big carboretor on a special intake with a adaptor.
The slowest 315 poly engine one made 307 Speed Records even one that was up to 1964 at boneville and was broke by a 1964 Hemi Ford Galaxie!
