I use Pinnacle Souveron on all my vehicles. It is expensive, but looks great on darker colors. I let the wax cure for eight hours and then put a paint sealant (Wolfgang 3.0) over the wax.

Ok a bit confused here, you let the wax on for 8 hrs, or you remove the wax and then let it sit for 8 hrs before you apply the sealant?

 

No, you have to wait for the wax to cure for eight - twelve hours before you apply a paint sealant over the wax (both remain on the vehicle). The wax will last only a few months alone, but a paint sealant will last six months or more. So the sealant protects the wax.
