Default Cooling fans not running

Hello fellow members,
I'm new here and this is my first post. I have a 2007 Caliber and the radiator fans are not turning. I have checked the 40 amp fuse that is in the engine compartment and it's good. So I need some help in trouble shooting the problem. If anyone has experienced the same problem can you please help me fix mine.
Kindest regards,
Tom

Is it overheating? They won't come on until the engine hits a certain temp. Usually around 1/2 way up on the stock gauge.
They should also come on with the a/c. Do they come on with the a/c turned on?

Thanks for the reply to my post. Yes it is over heating. I'm going outside to try the ac and see if they come on with that. I will let you know asap.
Kindest regards,
Tom

Ok so here is what I found. I turned on the ac and the passenger side fan comes on for 17 seconds and then shuts off for 12 seconds and then repeats the cycle. The fan on the drivers side does not come on at all. As of now the temp gauge is sitting in the middle. Any ideas?
Kindest regards,
Tom

Is the a/c compressor staying engaged when you turn it on or is it cycling with the fan?

I believe it was running all the time but I'm not possitive, I will have to check that in the morning.
Kindest regards,
Tom

Odd that the fan would short cycle like that.
At this point I am leaning towards the PCM.
You might try unhooking the battery for about an hour to try to reset the pcm and see if this does any good.
Also, try unhooking the non working fan. It could be shorted causing problems with the good one.
