Default 2008 Dodge Caliber SXT, a few questions...

First off, I will ask the quick (possibly stupid) YES or NO question -- Is my 2008 Dodge Caliber SXT hatchback an AWD vehicle. I thought the dealership told me it was but I might be mistaken. Most descriptions I have read say it is FWD.

Secondly, what is the best price for tires on this vehicle? They are equipped with R17's. This is my first car with that size and most tire places I referred to have pretty steep prices however my dealership runs a special every now and again. Not sure if I should stick with them or try to find a less expensive way to go.

Thirdly, what is the best precaution for rust protection?

Welcome to the forum.

Some were AWD. Just look under the car, if AWD, it will have a driveshaft running to the rear of the car to a differential that will have an axle shaft coming out of either side the the wheels. I think they may also have an AWD badge on the hatch. but I am not totally sure on that.
