Default Emergency/Parking Light won't go out

2000 Grand Caravan and the emergency break / parking light will not turn off. This problem started a few months ago when taking a turn (left or right) the light would go on then shut off. The light now is constantly on. The emergency break is not on and have pulled the release multiple times.
