Default Power Steering fliud Question??

I was looking in the "OWNER's Manual" for the correct fluid to use and it says to use Mopar ATF+4 Automatic transmission fluid. Am I missing something or not car knowledgeable at all. This is the same thing they recommend for the transmission fluid. Is this a misprint or is it correct? I have a 05 Dodge grand caravan 3.8l.

Another quick question,
I have a power sterring whinning problem and someone wrote to check the fluid, & maybe put some Lucas in it. Whats lucas??

Anyone?????

Default RE: Power Steering fliud Question??

Here's the TSB covering power steering fluid. ATF+4 is used in your van.
Lucus makes oil additives, and I suppose they make one for transmissions. Usually available at auto parts stores.
