Default 1997 GC ac not as cold

I noticed now the weather is warming up my AC is not as cold as last year. A good friend of mine is an a AC mechanic and has offered to charge the system but I cannot find how many pound of r134 should be in the system. He says he can't do it without that info or what the guages should read. Does anyone have that info they can pass along (particularly the weight because we are going to use a scale to refill after evacing the system)
Thanks
