Default Battery Temperature Sensor '01 Caravan

What does this code mean? My mechanic is pulling up a code for the battery temperature sensor in my caravan. He is telling me that the computer (the main one) needs to be replaced. Could someone please explain this to me.

I'm not sure that I agree with that, but since I don't know much about cars, I figure I better either take his word for it or try to find out something that would help him out.

Thanks,

Nida

I do not know what the code is. All I know is that it is defined in the book as battery temperature sensor problems. I can try and find out a code number.

Just e-mailed ya, dodgetech, but the code number my mechanic gave me is p1784. I'm not sure what if any ideas you might have, but any suggestions would help.

Thanks,

Nida
