Good day,I understand that atf+4 is suggested transmission fluid.I have read that it is not a true syntheyic fluid, in my other vehiclesI am usingmobil 1 synthetic fluid and have had positive results.I dont understand whymobil 1 synthetic fluid for thetransmission is not accepted.

 

Because it doesn't match the friction additives that are in ATF+4.

 

go ahead and put that stuff in see what happens to your tranny and see who would want to rebuild it =)
