RE: 2006 Grand Caravan SXT time 4 tires
I just had 4 215/65/16 Cooper CS4s installed for $408.00 including tax here in Central FL. I have only read good reviews on this new tire and decided to try them because they have an 80,000 mile treadlife expectancy and since I drive about 1,000 miles per week, I will be able to see if this claim is true. They are already quieter and better in wet handling than the Dunlops that I had on before.

I need new tires for my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. I would prefer a smooth ride (Touring tires) over mileage. Any comments/suggestions on what you have on your own Caravan and what you would recommend? Mine currently have the Bridgestone Turanza on them (original stock tires) and I am considering buying these again.

The Bridgestone Turanza are great tire for it's price, decent tread wear. Altho traction is not the greatest, but for it's price, can't ask for more.
If you want upgrade, I am currently riding on Michelin Harmony. 35k miles later, Still have like 60% tread left. very smooth/quiet ride, better traction than average tire all season. Only complaint is they were expensive. So wait for rebate offer!
Michelin discontinued it, but they said they replaced it with Michelin Defender, which is even better treadwear and traction.
I Highly recommend Michelin tires if you can afford them. But If you are on a Budget, I recommend you to stay with the Bridgestones.
Yokohama AVID is not bad as well, a little cheaper, but they don't last as long as bridgestone does.
