Default van broke

Hi i have a 95 caravan with the 3.0 That only runs with the throttle down if you let off at all it dies would anyone know what would cause this???

This site would be a lot more helpful if you gave more information!

Is the engine warmed up?
What do you mean by saying "with the throttle down"?
All the way to the floor,just off idle,or somewhere in between?

Try using carb cleaner to get some of the gom out of the IAC valve.Spray the carb cleaner into the little hole in front of the throttle blade.Use the throttle cable to keep the engine running while you spray cleaner into the little hole.Don't mind the smoke that will come out of the exhaust.

You could just remove the IAC and clean it with some carb cleaner. Would have to agree with chopper on the culprit.

Warm, cold dont matter. yes throttle down ifmoving throttle a little if idling, already cleaned the iac and everything else, all vacuum lines are conected and no leaks anywhere else, oh yeah and the van does not smoke. is that enogh helpfull info if not ask more i dont know what else i could type. thank you for the help so far.

wow.. this is almost ignorance at its finest.. WHAT YEAR OF VAN... WHAT SIZE ENGINE... GIVE US SPECS ON THE VEHICLE.. NOT JUST SYMPTOMS... there are some things about particular vehicles.. that some of us know.. based by symptoms.. make.. model.. year.. engine size.. all of that .. if ya want help.. ya gotta throw the dog a bone dude.. we cant read ya mind.. and the sarcasm.. leave that on google
