Air bag light came up on the dashbord

Hello to all, I hope someone can give me an idea on how to fix my problem , the light of the AIR BAg came up for no reason on the dashboard , I already disconnected the negative side of the battery, thinking that if the computer reset it will go away , but did not work .. any help or hint will be good .. Thanks

Not sure if this will help but, I had a 95 Caravan and the rear wiper motor seized up. The fuse blew and my airbag light came on checked all the usual things and no luck. Found out that the airbag and rear wiper are on the same fuse. Changed the fuse and presto the airbag light went off.

Your van may have the lifetime recall for the clockspring, D17 Or B24.

II forgot to mention that after checking all fuses and also taking the neg side of the battery and turning the ignition on for 15 second . I also noticed that the horn and cruse controls are not working .. any sugestions .. thanks

sounds to me like you need to check fuses.. and check connections in the power box in the engine compartment

Airbag , Horn , Cruise......Its the clockspring ......

A BIG THANKS to all. The Dodge dealer fixed the problem. I was the clockspring (D17) and yes, it is a recall that is still unfinish on these cars.
