My torque converter seems to be locking up when I shift into gear. It starts back up ok but when I try to put it in drive or reverse it dies immediately and when I am coming to a stop it chugs and dies feeling just like a manual tranny would if you tried to stop without pushing in the clutch. Does this sound like a lockup situation and if so could it be an electronic solenoid causing this problem? BTW no engine trouble codes are set. Thanks for listening, and MoparToYa.
