Default My Tranny?

hello everyone im new to the forum, but not to cars......

anyway, i have a problem with the '02 caravan. the problem is that when im in any forward gear or reverse, i get this likehesitation feeling when im gear with my foot on the brake.for instance,i come to a stop light and im in drive with my foot on the brake and then it will start to feel like the engine is misfiring. but when i shift it to neutral the studdering goes away. also when im at the stop and i give it good gas to take off, ithesitates to get going for a little bit (like a sec)but then gets going. so im thinking its something related to the transmission since it it only does it in gear. and also the transmission leaks from the gasket.

i would really like the input and help.

thanks

Default RE: My Tranny?

The torque converter maybe locking up when it shouldn't.
