Default Front end CLICK not clunk

I've been reading the complaints/issues about the front end thump/clunk. My '05 has a loud click or snap, not a thump, coming front the driver's side. At first I thought it was a sway bar bushing, but it's more metallic sounding. It can be duplicated while the van is sitting still by merely rocking the van from side to side. On the road, it appears at nearly every directional change, at slower speeds especially.

I got under it yesterday and there are no shiny areas on the sway bar. It seems like it's not coming from the end links, but more towards the center of the vehicle. Perhaps I should go ahead and put the bushings in and see if that was it....less than $20 for the two is a small investment, and will probably help anyway!

Ck your spare tire and the coolant lines for the rear heater, if you have rear heat/ a/c.
