Default ticking noise

I have a 2008 Caravan with about 8000 miles. There has been a ticking noise that the dealership has said is the catalytic converter cooling. Does anyone else hear this on their Caravans and how long does it last. This noise has been there since we bought it. Also is anyone else having any problems with their Mygig system. We now have the third radio installed because first one nav went inop and second one the speakers at times have no sound.

Thanks

Does it tick with the engine off ? If so my 03 Grand Caravan has always done that, it ticks after I shut it off, while it's cooling down. It also ticks for awhile whenI start it, until it gets up to normaltemp. It is the converter cooling down & warming up. It ticks pretty loud at times. Denny

Yes I hear it after I turn it off. It ticks for about 30 seconds.

My wifes 05 GC SXT does it too. Most cars do it, just some are louder that others. Nothing to worry about.
