Default p0135 error code help

I would like to get some information about this code I have P0135.
I know that this O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Is this something I can replace myself? Where this sensor is located anyway. At last is this something I really have to replace? I've got this check engine for a while and nothing major is going on.

thanks a lot

It would be a upsteam o2 sensor. If you have an 3.3 engine, the sensor would be near the the bulk head.

The sensors is located in the back of the engine on the exhaust pipe. You must have a O2 sensor socket to replace it because of where it is located. You can borrow one of these from Autozone. The sensorlooks like a sparkplug with 2 wires coming out the top of it.
