Default trailer tow option

I am looking to buy a 2008 grand caravan, I was interested in the trailer tow option which sells for 600$. Dodge claims they have a 160 amps alternator compared to 140 amps regular, a better rad, better tranny oil cooler,an engine oil cooler, a leveling control system for the suspensionwith the trailer wiring plug.
I compared one van with the option with another one, and the rads look exactly the same, the tranny cooler is in front of the rad and also looks exactly the same as the other one, could not find anything in the rear suspension that looked like pneumatic leveling or differences with the one without the option.
I am wondering if this is a bogus option that no one can double check or is it really worth getting.
I thought that it was a great deal for 600$, for the increased reliability due tothe oil coolers.

Default RE: trailer tow option

Can't speak for the specifics of the '08s

But as to the rear shocks, they are Nivomat load-levelling units. The van comes with softer rear springs as the Nivomats do some of the support.

Generally the Nivo's work well, but when they wear out, they are expensive to replace. And, you can't just install regular shocks either, because the rear end will sag.
