Default 97 grand caravan help

My van will not stop squeaking loudly. It goes squeak squeak squeak and does it constantly. Step on the accelerator and it does it faster. I replaced the idler pully thinking that may of been it. It stopped for a couple of days then started up again has not stopped. Any Ideas?

What size motor do you have? And have you try running the engine with the fan belt off?

V6 3 liter. no I havent. Sound of the squeaking sounds like it is coming from one of the pullys or the alternator pully. hard to tell

The early 3.0L had a water pump squeak only after the engine got hot. But when it was cold, the engine ran fine. no noise. The cause was the seal on the water pump blade.

It does it as soon as the van is turned on and keeps doing it until the van is turned off.

Take the fan belts off and start the engine. That will tell you the problem is a belt drive problem.
